Hey everyone,

Long time no see! I'm finally posting on this neglected page to share some news—some will say it's good, and some will say it's bad.

I've been agonizing over this for a while, but I'm a people-pleaser and hate saying no. But after the last year, I've decided to officially retire from my photography business.

My oldest just turned 18 and will be graduating high school, and it's made me realize how fast time flies. I don't want to spend hours away from my family on shoots and editing anymore. Plus, running a photography business is expensive! I need a new camera and computer, and it's just no longer worth the time away to cover those costs.

I'll contact my regular clients personally via email or text. And of course, I'm happy to help any of you find a new photographer.

I will keep this page active just for memories and just in case in several years I decide to come back. My website will eventually be closed also, but my business email will always remain open and checked if you need to reach me there.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me for the past 15 years. I am so lucky to have so many returning clients year after year and blessed to watch so many families and kiddos grow. It's been a wild ride, but it's time to exit.

This girl has been a natural since birth...literally, she had her first session minutes after being born. It's always so fun to photograph this lady.

Have you ever had a groundhog try to interrupt your photo session? After this session, I can say that I have. A big guy just came right up to my clients while they were sitting on the ground...I almost had a heart attack 😅

The Indiana weather darn near killed me this year. I never knew what I was going to get. I saw the sun at maybe 1/4 of my sessions. Sun or not, this family always kills it at their sessions and these kiddos always earn a gold star. ⭐️

When one of your besties asks you to photograph a group of 5yr olds for their Pre-K graduation, you put on your brave pants and get it done 😜🤣

Both times that I've been out to this family's property for a session I am more blown away at how beautiful it is. It doesn't hurt that the family is pretty awesome too.

I always find it extra special when we do a family session at the family's house...I feel like it makes those pictures a little more special because it's "your place"

Probably the only time a pr***en boy will be semi-excited for a photo session is when it's based around his favorite sport/hobby. It also helps when they are told at the beginning of the session that they won't be asked to smile a whole lot. 😆

Yes, I'm still alive. Yes, I'm still taking photos. I just haven't shared any of my sessions for the last year, basically.

Miss Anna turned 1 earlier this year so enjoy a look back at her birthday session. 🍉

I recently came out of my semi-retirement from newborn photography to photograph my newest little nephew. I can't wait to watch this little s***k grow! 🥰

I have taken this little lady's photos since she was in her mom's tummy...a decade ago 😳Her mom and I grew up together, being cousins who were born just 10 days apart. And Addy is basically a professional, she needs very little direction and just nails everything I ask her to do, so it makes it really hard to not over-share! 😘
