My Story

I found my love in the college darkroom, with black and white film. Then found a position with a small studio, photographing weddings full time. I craved education and joined local and state organizations, then Professional Photographers of America proudly Certified 2006-2020 and in sole proprietorship since 1998. I once scheduled family portraits for my siblings and parents at their hom

e for Christmas, with my first employer. He brought all his equipment, but one of my siblings didn’t make the appointment as he felt it wasn’t important. We never got the family portrait made. It was a few years later that my youngest brother lost his life. I would give anything to have that photo. And, few years later, my grandparents’ home was lost to a fire. While their lives were thankfully spared, all those treasured photos of our childhood were gone. I know how much history is truly stored in simple snapshots and beautiful portraits. How important it is, to save little moments in time for our children and grandchildren. Someone will want to know and see the history of your family, who you were. This has been my career love...
