Gisele Morales Photography Photography has always been my passion for as long as I can remember. My camera goes with me everywhere I go.

d lol that wee bit of info just made me feel a tad old), and since then have always loved to capture life's beauty through a lens. I feel that all memories should be captured whether grand or small! My style of photography is definitely geared towards a image that produces a beautiful golden hour glow, with bold, bright, and vivid colors. I definitely love a photo journalistic approach to taking photographs and will always make sure to capture candids during our session together. I am a natural light photographer and try to steer clear from using a flash (it tends to look harsh on skin) as I feel that pictures taken an hour before sunset look the most flattering on all skin tones! I love being able to capture a memory for families, that will be cherished for years to come, and there is no greater feeling than that!

I wanted to paint 🎨 my neighbors dog Charlie to give her to say thank you 🙏🏽 for having given me the most thoughtful gift of him after we had to put Bear down 2 weeks ago after his health started to deteriorate and man to say I haven’t been a mess is a lie. I’ve always been the friend or family member whose love language is cooking for you, taking all the photos, and painting something for those I love or to just say thank you 🙏🏽 I see you and I appreciate you. And when we show kindness to those that are hurting it really shows me their character. So I did what I know to do my way to say thank you so much for bringing me a smile, I painted in return her world. I had never painted a dog before let alone using watercolor I usually use acrylic to paint but I decided why not I can do it. So here’s the finished piece. I also decided I wanted to paint Bear after this and start to give gifts like these away because this honestly brought me so much happiness painting this knowing they would have this hung up in their home. Because a dog is not just a dog they are your best friend, your baby, your confidant and most of all they become your family.

The post I’ve been dreading only because I gave one for Coco, so my Bear had to have a permanent place here too….
In December 2 weeks after I had to bury coco, Bear collapsed on me the day after Christmas. Here I thought after her death at least I still have you! I knew he would be 12 in Jan but I thought labs can live up to 13-15 years so I thought I would have at the very least 1-2 more years with him. But that was not the case. At the ER vet they found 2 masses one in his spleen and one in his liver. He didn’t have long we were told but we chose to put him down at home if that was worst case not in a cold vet office.
We brought him and watched him I remember balling to him telling him what I’m I going to do without you. This wasn’t in our plans you were supposed to make it to California with me. So we as a family decided that we would see how he would do I was supposed to move at the end of December but we waited a month to see how Bear would do. If he got worse ricky would fly home and we would euthanize him in our home and bury him under his favorite tree. But he started to slowly get better and at the end of Jan with the help of my mom we drove cross country from South Florida to Houston to load our things we had there, and move on to Northern California where we would call home for the next year. I decided to take a step back from work because I didn’t know how long I would have him.

I’ve waited 4 years to finally release these! Because I feel your phone pictures deserve the same treatment as the ones I get paid for
And that’s the whole reason these exist, I hand edit everything I photograph and four years ago I started building a way to do the same thing to the photos I take on my phone in order to make the presets one tap easy for non photographers to use, because that’s where most of your life actually lives, in a camera roll. This also goes hand in hand with me starting the movement of wanting you to intentionally preserve your memories.
So this week I’ll be running a whole preset series, one preset at a time, side by side so you can see exactly the magic of what each one does to a real photo that could definitely look better than what’s originally on camera.

We don’t pull over for the moment we pull over for the picture, and then the picture never looks like what you just saw with your own eyes. I’m I right?
Let me let you into a little editing secret, that’s what you just watched by the way, already edited, you just couldn’t tell.
Four years of my life went into fixing that exact problem getting your colors on your photos to look exactly like what we saw with our own eyes but the photo or video color always fell flat, and monday you get all the before and afters.
