📸 Sometimes I look at a photo and think, this is exactly why I love what I do. ❤️

Seeing my work in print as a Featured Photographer is pretty exciting… but seeing my little Hanny all grown up on these pages makes it even sweeter. 🥹🤍

She made the most beautiful mama-to-be, and I loved getting to capture this season for her. Now these sweet memories are officially in print, too. 📸

Definitely one of those little moments that makes my heart happy. 💕

❤️ **Your kids don’t have to “behave” for family pictures.**

I hear it all the time: “I just hope my kids cooperate!”

But here’s the thing—I used to teach **kindergarten and first grade**. Kids being kids doesn’t scare me. 😂

I don’t need them to sit perfectly still or give me their best smile on command.

Let them play. Let them be silly. Let them snuggle you, run around, and show me who they really are.

Those little in-between moments are often the photos you end up loving the most. ❤️

**What would your child do first—give me a big smile or run the other direction? 😂**

I always go into a session with poses and ideas in mind, but I also want to know what *you* are hoping for.

During this sunflower session, I had several things planned, but I also asked what they wanted to try — and they came up with some really good ideas that we worked right into the session.

That’s one of my favorite parts of photographing people. I’m there to guide you, help with posing, watch the light, and make sure everything photographs beautifully… but I also want your session to feel like *you*.

You never have to show up knowing exactly what to do, but if you have an idea you love, tell me. We can create something together. 🤍

Sweet baby Lylah 🤍

I loved getting to spend a little extra time with Hannah and her family and capture this new season for them.

There were sleepy snuggles, tiny fingers, a proud big brother, and so many little moments that will change way too quickly.

I love newborn sessions because they give us a chance to slow down for just a little while and capture what this season feels like.

And that big pink bow… 💗
