Today marks 3 years of owning Sebrie Images Photography — and somehow, that number feels both small and monumental all at once.
What makes this anniversary especially meaningful is that my story with this business began long before ownership. Twenty years ago, I first stepped into Sebrie Images under the original owner and founder, never fully knowing just how much this little corner of my life would one day become such a defining part of who I am.
Over the years, I’ve witnessed so much change — employees come and go, owners come and go, summers touched by red tide, an economic downturn, a global pandemic, and hurricanes that forever reshaped the beaches and beloved places that have held so many memories for so many families.
And still… here I am.
Still grateful.
Still deeply thankful.
Still showing up with my whole heart.
Because this has never felt like just a job to me.
It has been a privilege to preserve seasons of life that pass far too quickly — the laughter, the connection, the fleeting beauty of a family exactly as they are in this moment. That responsibility is something I have never taken lightly.
To every family, couple, parent, grandparent, and returning client who has invited me into your lives and trusted me with your memories — thank you. Your support is the reason this business continues to grow, evolve, and endure. It is because of you that I am still able to do the work I love so dearly.
Owning Sebrie Images has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and today I’m feeling incredibly humbled to celebrate 3 years as owner and 20 years as part of this story.
A milestone I’ll never take for granted.
Here’s to what has been — and to all that is still to come. 🥂
