The simple point and shoot film camera belonging to his father soon turned into a treasured possession for Sandip. A visually oriented person by nature, he was captivated by the ability to capture any given moment in the swirling, shifting, scattered landscape of humans and nature around him. Many years, and cameras later, he had explored the capacity of more complex equipment, as the fascination
evolved into a serious hobby. Simultaneously pursuing this passion, he spent 9 years in the advertising industry, where he learned to understand, direct, and analyze creativity and the visual arts. His formal education in journalism has given him a strong foundation in the subject, and this is effortlessly reflected in the stories he tells in each photograph and series of images. Well grounded in this wonderful art & science, yet assuming a free spirit, Sandip paints images of people, and of his own travels.
