I've always had this dream of a photographer following myself and my family around for a day. For 1, I could actually be IN the photos with my kids and my husband and 2, they'd be high quality, printable images since they weren't snapshots taken with a phone by someone who doesn't know how to take a beautiful and captivating photo. When I started to get serious about photography, one of the first
things I did was to join a few Facebook groups and learn everything I could. I vividly remembering clicking on a link called "Lifestyle vs. Since I had so much to learn and nothing to lose, I was reading everything so of course I opened it not even fully understanding the two genres. My eyes widened as this article spoke about everything I had been dreaming about. I told everyone about my dream about my life being documented by a photographer and how it's actually a thing! I was so excited! I knew that I could be that person! Life changes so quickly. Our kids are growing up SO fast, a family member may pass unexpectedly, people move away... My passion is to deliver those beautiful, candid moments that seem like normal, everyday life, but they're memories in the making.
***Prints vs. Digitals***
My wedding photographer did not give us prints, only a disc of images. To this day, almost 8 years later (married in 2009), I still have not made a wedding photo album. Both my children had their newborn pictures taken in the hospital and our only option was to purchase the prints. They were born in 2013 & 2015. Their pictures are printed, framed and up on our walls. Not only does letting your photographer handle the prints take the stress off of you, you are then guaranteed a high quality, beautiful print that will last.
