A client shared something with me recently that really stuck. She told me the reason she finally chose her newborn photographer wasn’t a website, a gallery, or a list of reviews—though she had looked at all of those. She said the options still felt overwhelming, and she worried about choosing wrong.
What changed everything was a conversation with a friend.
Her friend didn’t talk about pricing or collections. She didn’t mention props or poses. She simply said,
“She made me feel calm and comfortable the second I walked in. I didn’t have to prepare or bring a thing, and it was obvious right away how confident and gentle she was with my baby. I trusted her completely.”
That one comment carried more weight than hours of online searching ever could.
Because in this stage of life, trust is everything. Trust that your baby will be safe. Trust that you’ll never feel rushed. Trust that you’ll be cared for as a parent, not treated like a time slot.
Knowing another mama felt that level of ease with me was exactly the reassurance she needed—and hearing that never stops humbling me.
When you recommend me to a friend, especially during such a vulnerable, precious season, I understand how meaningful that is. I carry that trust into every session, every interaction, and every moment I spend caring for your baby.
This work is about so much more than photos. It’s about trust. And I’m deeply grateful for it. 🤍
