Oh, this sweet little guy! 💙🤎

One of my favorite things about newborn photography is getting to play with all the beautiful colors, textures, and tiny details that make each session unique!

His mama gave me complete creative freedom to choose the colors for his session, and I was ALL about it! 😍

I went with a mix of soft, dusty blues and warm, earthy rust tones, and I absolutely LOVE how everything came together! Two completely different color palettes, but both so perfect for this handsome little guy.

And can we just talk about that sweet little face?!

One of my absolute favorite things about these sessions is seeing so many of the same families come back year after year. Some of these kiddos I’ve been photographing since they were tiny newborns, and getting to watch them grow through their holiday portraits is truly one of the best parts of the season. 🥹❤️

The photos shown are the sets we’ll be using this year—but if you’ve been to one of my holiday events before, you know the sets are just the beginning! 🎄

We always bring in lots of fun, interactive props for the kids that really bring everything to life. My goal is for the experience to be just as much fun for them as the finished portraits are for you!

One whole year of this sweet little guy!

I absolutely love this family. They came to me when they were pregnant with their first baby, and since then I’ve gotten to photograph so many of their milestones — maternity, newborns, birthdays, holidays, and now another first birthday!

I probably say this about a lot of my families… 😂 but it’s because I really do get attached to these little people! There’s something so special about getting to watch families grow and seeing the babies I photographed as newborns come back for their first birthdays, and then watching them grow year after year.

And this little guy was just too happy for his first birthday session! 🥰

This is the part of photography I love the most — not just taking pretty pictures, but getting to be there for all the little milestones along the way. ❤️

I’m so grateful when families trust me to keep documenting their story year after year. 📸

If you’ve been with me for a while, you know the drill! We do holiday booking the same way every year so my returning holiday families get first dibs on dates and times.

✨ The first round of emails has already been sent to clients who have booked Holiday Petite Sessions with me in previous years. Your email includes the booking link. My clients who have come to my Holiday event in the past get first dibs.

✨ Tomorrow at 4:00 PM, those clients will receive an email with the link to all of the Holiday Petite Session information AND booking!

✨ The next round of emails will go out to my client list. Those clients will receive an email with the link to all of the Holiday Petite Session information AND booking!

✨ And after that, whatever spots are still available will be opened up and the booking link will be posted here on social media!

Like father, like son… with a little more cake! ✈️🎂💙

This little guy came in for his first birthday cake smash, and how cute is he in the outfit his dad wore?! I absolutely LOVE when families bring meaningful details like this into their sessions.

And of course, we had to have the perfect cake to match! 🎂✈️ Mom of 3 Cakes personally matched the cake to his outfit, and she nailed it! She has been making our cake smash cakes for over 10 years now, and I don't know what we'd do without her. ❤️

Years from now, these photos won't just be pictures of his first birthday—they'll be a reminder of the tiny boy he was, a little piece of his dad's story, and one VERY happy cake-loving kid. 😂

Some of the most popular questions I get from new parents… 👶🏻

“Do I have to bring anything?”
Nope! 🙌 You bring the baby. I’ve got the rest! All of the wraps, outfits, props, blankets, and adorable little things you see in my newborn portraits are provided by me.

“What if my baby doesn’t sleep?”
Don’t worry! 😊 We’ll get there. Babies are unpredictable, and after 11 years of photographing newborns, I’ve learned that they all have their own little personalities and schedules. We take our time, follow baby’s cues, and work around what they need. Somehow, it always comes together! I have my magic ways ;)

“What if my baby is fussy?”
Also totally normal! Feeding, cuddling, rocking, diaper changes, and breaks are all part of the session. There is absolutely no need to apologize for a baby being…well, a baby. 😂

“Do I need to know how to pose my baby?”
Absolutely not. That’s my job! I handle the posing and make sure baby is comfortable and safely positioned throughout the session. Your just going to sit back and enjoy.

“What should my baby wear?”
You don't need to worry about that either. I have a huge selection of newborn wraps, and props, and I’ll help create setups that coordinate beautifully with your style and home.

Basically… your job is to bring your tiny human. My job is to take care of the rest. ❤️

After 11 years and well over 1,000 newborns, I promise there isn't much baby behavior I haven't seen. 😉

And yes… I still love getting to snuggle every single one of them. 🥰
