Friday AM spaghetti models for Melissa on tropicaltidbits.com. Slow drift west then that turn N/NE. Some bump a little more south of Jamaica. Rain won't change much but could keep some of the bigger winds offshore if it misses a direct hit. Ironically the UK in blue and GFS in red are the outliers. Usually not that far off but have been for this storm. www.spaghettimodels.com

The question isn't IF it's going to turn to the Northeast. The question is WHEN. The NHC track has Melissa going West, but several models still show more of a Northerly track. Until we see some agreement with the models, the forecast is still low confidence. What's high confidence, is that it won't bother the Gulf.
