The Botello Family 🍂

Some families just make you want to hit pause🤎

The Botellos were the coolest, sweetest crew, full of energy, big personalities, & the most beautiful smiles🥹✨ The second Bennett family I’ve had the honor of photographing, & I couldn’t have asked for a better session.

We wandered through the Flatirons that I am easily obsessed with to capture a few authentic family moments🏔️🍂 The mountains, the laughter, the little moments in between, it was all so beautiful.

Teaching has its highs & lows, but getting to be both a teacher + photographer makes this journey feel extra special⭐️

I get to teach them.
Then sometimes, I get to freeze their memories, too📸

From my student at South… to chasing big dreams on the ice🧊🥹

It’s crazy how life moves us along to new schools, new chapters, new versions of ourselves, but some things stay the same. And Allana? She’s still as cool, determined, & genuine as ever🫶🏼

This hockey girl is the real deal, taking her game to the next level at a private hockey academy, & I had the BEST time adventuring around Curt Gowdy before heading to her home for a session that was so her; hockey gear, grit, a good dog, & all🏒✨

As a mom & a teacher, time feels like it moves at warp speed. One minute they’re sitting in your classroom, & the next, they’re standing in front of you with big dreams & a future waiting to be chased.

And honestly? My favorite part has always been teaching them. Cheering for them. Protecting them. Watching them grow into exactly who they’re meant to be❤️‍🩹

Congratulations, Allana. I already know you’re going to do amazing things! On the ice and everywhere life takes you🥹

Lyric G🌾🌸🏐

It feels like yesterday she was sitting in my health class, & now she’s stepping into her senior year🥹

Lyric has always been the definition of steady; kind, driven, & quietly fierce. As two volleyball girls, our conversations almost always circle back to the game, the grind, & the dreams that come with it. I have no doubt she’s going to do incredible things🏐✨

Moments like these remind me why I love this job. Six years of senior sessions. Hundreds of stories. Thousands of memories. And somehow, every single one still feels like my favorite🤍

Senior year is more than a milestone, it’s the moment before everything changes.

A Porcupine Falls Surprise Engagement💍

Some stories deserve more than a chapter, they deserve a waterfall.

Kevin reached out with a plan to end their family vacation with the question that changes everything. So we became “family friends” on a hike to Porcupine Falls, pretending we’d never been before. (Technically true for me!)

The Wyoming wind showed up like it always does💨, his hands shook just enough, & the waterfall roared behind them as he dropped to one knee.

She said yes🤍

The hike was steep, the surprise was perfect, & the views were worth every step. We captured a forever, got in a workout, & watched the beginning of their next adventure unfold.

Some call it a game.

He calls it home.

The whistle. The weight room. The lights. The film. The lessons hidden between the lines of every play. Football has never just been what Eli does, it’s who God created him to be🏈

So with hearts full of gratitude, we’re beyond excited to share…

Eli is officially the new Head Football Coach at Bennett High School!🧡🐅🏈

I’ve had a front-row seat to the countless hours no one sees. The early mornings. The late nights. The sacrifices. The prayers. The relentless pursuit of becoming the kind of coach young men remember long after the scoreboard fades.

Because that’s always been the goal.

Not just to win games.

To build leaders.
To build character.
To build men.

He’s already accomplished things in his coaching career that many only hope to experience, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned about Eli, it’s that yesterday’s success has never been enough. His eyes have always been fixed on the next opportunity to serve, to lead, & to leave something better than he found it.

And now…

A new chapter begins!🐅

Jordan, you walked into my freshman PE/Health class at South & made it easy to do the best part of teaching: notice the kids who just get it. Respectful. Steady. Good energy. The kind of student who doesn’t just pass through a classroom, but leaves something special behind in it.

Now here we are, different schools, same story, finally getting to this senior session you’ve been on me about all year🫡

I still talk about my Wyoming students…but you, Jord, are always in that group. The ones I’m proud to have had a hand in, even briefly, in the becoming.

It’s been an honor to teach you, to cheer for you, & to watch you grow into this amazing version of yourself.

Dante H & the Boys♣️🤵🏼♠️

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing these handsome young men before prom night, & man… what a full circle moment. Between Eli & myself, we’ve taught &/or coached every one of these gentlemen over the years. Getting to see my “big kids” again filled my heart more than I can explain🫶🏼🥹

After spending almost a full school year teaching elementary PE, this session reminded me just how much I’ve missed my older students. Don’t get me wrong, being my daughter’s PE teacher & getting to teach all of her sweet friends has been such a special season, & field day was an absolute success!🥏 But seeing these guys all dressed up & ready for prom? Unreal.

How absolutely stunning does Hannah look?! She and Richard completely rocked this session from start to finish. The soft pinks, the sunshine, the lake views… perfection💕

A little sentimental moment for me too, I’ve taught Richard since his freshman year, and now he’ll be a senior this fall. Watching these kids grow into such amazing young adults is truly one of the sweetest parts of this job🥹🫶🏼

These two made this shoot effortless. Prom season has been SO much fun already & I can’t wait to share more!✨📸
