I don’t do this for the recognition. I do it because I genuinely LOVE what I do.

Something I never imagined would become my career has turned into one of my greatest passions. Photography has become so much more than just taking pretty pictures. It’s about connection, capturing moments that matter, and sharing something I truly love with others.

I feel so lucky to be able to share my creativity, my passion, and the gifts I’ve been given with people who appreciate photography as much as I do.

At the end of the day, I just want to create beautiful things, connect with amazing people, and give you memories you’ll treasure forever.

And I hope that the people who see the beauty and value in what I do will always find me here 😊 ❤️

I absolutely LOVE extended family sessions! One of my favorite things about what I do is getting to watch families grow over the years!

Since my last session with the Cox family, they’ve added TWO new little members to the crew! I love getting everyone together, capturing all the generations, and seeing how much has changed since the last time they were in front of my camera.

Watching your kids grow up is such a bittersweet thing. 🥹

I’m finding myself trying to soak up every little moment with my middle daughter, especially now that she’s a senior. I keep asking myself,how did we get here so fast?
My kids have literally grown up with a camera in their faces, and somehow, they still humor me when I ask them to model so I can play around with new photography techniques. I’m always so grateful when they say yes, because what starts as me wanting to try something new turns into another memory I get to hold onto of them.

And lately, I’ll take any excuse I can get to spend a little extra time with her.

Ever wonder what goes into editing your photos?

Every single image I deliver is hand-edited and fine-tuned by me. From perfecting colors to adjusting lighting and cleaning up little distractions, I take the time to polish every detail.

The photo I capture in camera is just the starting point. The editing process is where I get to bring my creative vision to life and make the image “

After 15 years of photographing families, I’ve learned something I wish every parent knew.

You don’t need to have it all together to deserve beautiful memories.

Your kids don’t need a perfectly coordinated family, a spotless house, or a mom who feels completely comfortable in front of the camera.

They just need YOU.

I’ve watched families walk into sessions worried about how their kids will behave or whether everyone will cooperate. And I’ve watched those same families leave laughing, hugging, and realizing they just spent an hour truly enjoying each other.

Because somewhere along the way, a photo session becomes something more.

It’s a chance to slow down. To reconnect. To see the beautiful life you’ve built from a different perspective.

And years from now, those photographs will remind you of what it felt like to be right here, together.

That’s what I hope every family takes away from their time with me. 🤍

Rich in life. And I don’t mean financially. 🤍

I mean rich in experiences, friendships, freedom, creativity, and the incredible people I’ve met along the way.

What started as a love for photography has become so much more than a business. It’s given me the opportunity to be present for my family, build meaningful relationships, travel to beautiful places, and document some of the most important moments in people’s lives.

Not every day is easy. Running a business certainly comes with its challenges. But even after all these years, I still feel incredibly fortunate that I get to call this my job.

And that, to me, is a pretty beautiful kind of wealth.

One of my favorite things about being the Head of Community for National Association of Portrait & Child Photographers is getting to witness firsthand just how special this photography community truly is. ❤️

When you bring photographers together, something pretty amazing happens!

We talk photography, share business advice, exchange ideas, inspire one another, laugh until our cheeks hurt, explore incredible places, and of course… find any excuse to pull out our cameras for an EPIC shootout! 📸

But the best part? The friendships and connections that last long after the cameras are packed away.

That’s what makes the National Association of Portrait and Child Photographers so special. It’s so much more than a professional organization. It’s a community of creatives who genuinely want to see one another succeed. A place to learn, grow, collaborate, celebrate each other’s wins, and find people who just GET IT!

Having a community like this in an industry where we often work alone is truly something special, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.
