Photos by Memory Layne Welcome to Photos By Memory Layne! :) I have teamed up with a company that provides quality photos and will show you a portfolio upon request.

Prices are as follows-
1 hour mini session: $40.00
3 hour session: $75.00
Birthdays: $60.00
Weddings: $200.00 (75 edited photos, an album, two discs, and a canvas)
If you so choose to order prints through me, there will be an extra charge of $15.00. By hiring Photos By Memory Layne the customer agrees to their images being shared on all social media pages owned by the proprietor, public or private

per request of the consumer. All images are copyright of Photos By Memory Layne, and any printing, sharing or distribution of images taken by Photos By Memory Layne shall be at the discretion of said business unless the consumer has been given a written agreement signed by Photos By Memory Layne giving consent to do so. If the consumer wishes to print out their own portrait packages, Photos By Memory Layne agrees to allow only if all images are not cropped, leaving the website visible on the photo. Written consent agreements will be present and signed before every session. Photos By Memory Layne accepts payment via check, debit, or cash, and must be paid up front before services are rendered to ensure sessions. Photos By Memory Layne does not accept payment plans or post dated checks. If there are any further questions, please message, text, or call the phone number provided.

I know it's late, and most of the world is currently sleeping.

However I'm too excited to sleep.

You see, I have been on a sabbatical because life got kinda crazy for me, so I do apologize for going off the radar for a while.

I have been through a lot. Rebranding. Personal things. To say that I lost my passion for photography during that time was an understatement.

I fell into a rabbit hole and got stuck for a period of time, but I have been making some changes as well as progress and I am feeling more confident now, so keep an eye out for the Grand Reopening announcement, which by my calculations should be late spring/early summer.

Again I do sincerely apologize for disappearing and I hope this will be the start of a new and incredible venture!

Hopefully by this summer, I'll have all the tools necessary to get back to business, I will update you all when I'm open again.
I see that I have more likes and page views, that's very encouraging, thank you so much, y'all!
I have a fulltime job, so my availability will be strictly every other weekend until further notice.

I apologize for the lack of activity, however since business with PBML is slow, I had to seek full time employment. It has been a dream of mine to be a photographer also to own and operate my own business, but it has proven to be very hectic to get going. I will be making new business cards and hopefully soon will have new equipment too. The last few days have just been BEAUTIFUL, and the perfect weather for families to have portraits done. I offer low cost services, also will be starting specials every other week. Starting September 1st, I will begin a contest for my followers to receive free stuff! Please call 319-572-9277,or email [email protected] with any questions or to schedule an appointment. I am available from Monday through Friday from 8-2:30, and weekends are very flexible. Don't let your memories pass you by, call Photos By Memory Layne to capture them for you. Prices are available in the 'about me' section, but are subject to negotiation. Deposits are required BEFORE your session, and the rest is to be paid in full the day of, before or after your shoot. The amount of the deposit is 50% of the cost of the session. NO LIMIT on poses, NO LIMIT on pictures, however, there is a limit on free discs per session (2), if you would like extra, they are $5 per disc. Also, packages are on a build your own basis, but do run as low as $15.00. Packages are separate from most sessions, with the exception of Birthdays, Weddings, and Engagement announcements. I just want to take a moment to thank my wonderful husband, Nate Hillyer, for surprising me with my camera, without which I wouldn't be taking these AWESOME photos. Thank you, sweetness, I am a very lucky woman to have a husband who supports my ambition to be a photographer! :) In other news, (lol) I have finished the last few photos from Tammy and David's session yesterday and am about to get started on the session with Jessica and her two handsome sons. We didn't get many photos accomplished, so I decided to have another shoot with her on Saturday, but I am going to go ahead and edit the photos that we were able to take. While I was taking the photos, I couldn't help but notice that she is a very loving and attentive mother, and that her two boys are her life and world! :)
