This extended family session with my sweet friend Vanessa has been on my mind lately. This family is collectively one of the most hilarious families I know.

There aren't many people that you work with for a short time in your early 20s who find ways to stay in your life but Vanessa is one of those for me. She could make any one laugh with her gentle teasing. The mood is never too heavy when Vanessa is there. Still, randomly, I remember stories she told us while we filed patient charts at Dr. Cardos' office and laugh! When I think of her or her family, I send my best wishes on the wind to her. They deserve only the best!
