Travel to new places is an opportunity to explore the exotic, discover pathways to possibilities, and engage the imagination. For photographer Judith Ennis it is a chance to frame a fragment of life through a camera’s lens. Judith Ennis says "I am curious and this curiosity enables me to open new doors and do new things." Judith has always been intrigued by streets that beckon one to the unknown a

s its end weaves its way from sight. Closed doors and arches that envelop the viewer in its air of intrigue and mystery are fascinating subjects for Judith’s photographs. Where does this path lead? What waits behind that door? She focuses on the object that seems out of place in its environment-- the broken branch, the building out of tune with the surrounding architecture.

A few years ago, on a trip to Israel, I climbed the Thousand Year Old Hill and took this photo. Isn’t this view breathtaking? While the site of many archeological digs, the bustling city at the edge provides quite the picturesque contrast. A perfect pairing of antiquity and modern times, with stunning weather and crystal clear sky, this photograph speaks to the respect for history while we move forward with modern development. This framed photo would make a great conversation piece or addition to your gallery of travel destinations. If you are planning to go to Israel, you may want to buy some pictures! https://judithennis.zenfolio.com/p1015739010

What a perfectly lovely day to go sailing! If you love a brief getaway of river sailing, you may not immediately think of doing it in New York City! But there are sailboats drifting dreamily by on the Hudson River, and this photo captures that compelling contrast between peaceful nature and bustling skyscraper skyline. You can almost feel the breeze on your face while you admire the calm river in this photograph. This image embodies so many things to appreciate among fans of New York. It’s a great fit for hanging in any room of your home or office. Buy yours here https://judithennis.zenfolio.com/p178802125/h665e8154

This photo is a celebration of the colors of the earth, bursting over a sleepy city. “Sunrise Over the Hudson” captures the unparalleled beauty of a pure morning sky. The air was clear and crisp. With some buildings across the Hudson River peeking into view, the colors of this sunrise blanketed the sky to create a one of a kind work of art. Admiring this sunrise in the early morning, it was a gift that took my breath away.

This photograph will bring breathtaking color to any area of your home and would look especially regal in a room with a neutral palette. Find it here in my Zenfolio site. https://judithennis.zenfolio.com/p601910055

Do you love classical music like I do? Imagine my delight in encountering this room filled with gorgeous instruments. I love the rich melodic tones of a cello, and here were a group of them, all lined up and ready to play. These beauties were spotted in a Fort Lee home where the owners make, sell, and repair string instruments for musicians.

These cellos are beautiful to behold even before anyone plays them. This print would look amazing in your living room, den, or wherever you love playing or enjoying music. If you can’t have a live orchestra in your house, here’s the next best thing!

Can you picture yourself on this solitary walk on a cool spring day in Rockport, Massachusetts? How peaceful having Good Harbor Beach to yourself. A great time to meditate with nature, the salty air floating through your senses. You can feel yourself grounded by the nature around you, the weathered but sturdy boardwalk at your feet, the overcast sky with a solitary bird as your companion overhead.

Wouldn’t this print look great in your den or office? An earthy feel, a contemplative atmosphere. This image brings so many elements together you can get lost in it.

The print looks best in 8 x 10 or 13 x19. However there are other sizes are available.

Head over to Zenfolio for your print. https://judithennis.zenfolio.com/p17779254
