One of the perks of being a photographer is finally giving myself the photos I always wish I had. I didn’t document my other pregnancies like this, so being able to capture and cherish this season of life means even more. 🤍

Yesterday I had the honor of photographing the sweetest little NICU warrior. 🤍

These early days aren’t always what parents imagine, but they are still filled with so much love, strength, and resilience. I feel incredibly grateful to capture these moments so this family can look back and remember not only how tiny she was, but just how far she had already come. ❤️

A little life update from Taken Photography

As much as I wish I could keep chasing golden hour sessions all summer long, this Texas heat and being 34 weeks pregnant are officially winning. 😅

If you're already on my calendar, don't worry-we are still good to go! But for the remainder of my pregnancy, I won't be booking any new outdoor sessions.

I will still be offering indoor/studio sessions and Fresh 48 sessions, and I'll reopen my books for outdoor sessions once I've had some time to recover and settle in with our newest little addition.

Thank you all so much for your support, understanding, and for trusting me to capture your memories. It means more to me than you'll ever know.
I can't wait to be back behind the camera outdoors soon... but for now, this mama needs some air conditioning. 🤍📸✨
