I love these almost-fall-but-still-summer Michigan evenings.

This week I had the opportunity to work with SC4 for their Media Day, capturing images for their athletes and teams. 📸

It was such a fun change of pace to step outside my usual workflow, experiment with a different lighting approach, and get creative with how I captured these images.

I love photography for moments like this—getting to bring my experience into a new setting while learning, experimenting, and creating something fresh.

Grateful for the opportunity to work with SC4 and excited to see these images out in the world!

I think every engagement should be celebrated with a picnic. 🧺🥪🌿

No timelines. No seating charts. No vendor emails. Just a blanket, your favorite person, and a moment to slow down and soak it all in.

Logan and Ryleigh did exactly that, and it was the sweetest reminder that engagement isn't just about planning a wedding—it's about celebrating the beginning of forever.

The laughter, the quiet moments, the way they look at each other... these are the memories that matter just as much as the wedding day itself.

I already know their wedding is going to be incredible, but getting to capture this chapter first was such a joy. 🤍🌿✨

A lovely evening with a lovely family.

Pale french blue. Sparkling chandeliers. Mom's wedding dress.

This day was timeless with the feeling of a dreamy regency elegance. Alaina and Jimmy became husband and wife at Dove Manor in Metamora, Michigan.

I literally started crying watching Alaina and her mother gaze upon her sparkling, beaded wedding dress. It was the very same wedding dress her mom wore on her own wedding day.

The moment Alaina walked down the aisle, the stringed quartet music swelled in the lush Michigan greenery and tears of happiness were flowing for many.

Alaina and Jimmy, I pray the Lord blesses you in your marriage. May He be your rock and foundation all your days.

Jenna + Phillip | 06-20-26

My first wedding of the summer and Jenna & Phillip were blessed with the kind of wedding day you dream about—sunshine, perfect weather, and a beautiful ceremony on the brickstone patio of Zuccaros in Chesterfield, surrounded by the people they love most. 🤍☀️

Jenna’s infectious smile lit up every moment of the day, and anyone who knows Phillip knows that his heart of gold and the way he deeply cares for his friends and family are part of what make him so special. The love and joy these two share was evident in every glance, every laugh, and every embrace.

As the sun went down, the celebration kicked into full gear. The dance floor came alive, and before long, LED cowboy hats were lighting up the room and creating memories no one will soon forget. The reception was full of energy, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

Jenna & Phillip, thank you for letting me be a part of such an incredible day. Your love for each other and for the people around you is a gift, and I pray your marriage is full of joy, beauty and happiness. 💛✨
