🏰 Fort Drum families — you're invited to the Lewis County Renaissance Faire! 🗡️

Just a short drive from post, spend a day (or two!) stepping back in time at the Lewis County Fairgrounds in Lowville. Knights, swordfighting, live music, a horse show, turkey legs, an escape room, costume contests, and a royal court await — it's a full day of family fun for all ages.

Here's the best part: the Faire is 100% volunteer-run, and every dollar raised supports the Youth of Lewis County (YOLC) — funding free programs for local teens, a youth drop-in center, and youth theater. When you come have fun, you're directly helping North Country kids.

Costumes are always encouraged (but never required!) — come as you are or dress the part. Little ones love it.

The Lewis County Renaissance Faire returns September 12 & 13 — and we've expanded as much as we possibly can this year to make it our biggest, best lineup yet!

This year's admission:
🗡️ Ages 13 & up — $25
🛡️ Ages 6–12 — $15
👶 Ages 5 & under — FREE

These prices sit well below the average Renaissance faire, and they buy you access to an entire day of scheduled events — from 10 to 5, both days.

We've also asked our vendors to bring the realm to life — this year they're required to deck out their booths, so the whole faire feels more immersive than ever. 🏰

Here's what makes it matter: not one dollar you pay goes into anyone's pocket. We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run almost entirely by volunteers. Our only paid support is a single part-time staff member — 8 hours a week — who keeps our free teen center running for local youth.

So when you buy a ticket, you're not just getting a day of fun. You're funding free youth programming across the North Country. 🏰
