☀️💙 Warning: Today’s hike may cause an overwhelming urge to spend more time outside. 😍🥾

Some days, you head out for a walk just to stretch your legs… and other days, nature completely steals your heart. Today was definitely one of those days. Riverbend Ponds absolutely showed off!

As a photographer, I couldn’t help but notice the light dancing across the water and filtering through the leaves, creating a soft glow in every direction. It felt like every step offered another perfect frame. Nature has a way of helping us slow down, notice the beauty we often rush past, and appreciate the simple moments that fill our hearts.

For a couple of hours, my only task was to walk, breathe, and enjoy. No emails. No notifications. No deadlines. Just sunshine, fresh air, peaceful trails, and a grateful heart. It’s amazing how something so simple can quiet your mind, lift your spirit, and leave you feeling refreshed.

Walking is a gentle reminder that slowing down isn’t falling behind. It’s part of taking care of ourselves.

🇺🇸✨ Red, white, blue, and a whole lot of childhood magic. ✨🇺🇸

There’s something so special about watching kids celebrate the 4th of July. Running barefoot through the grass, laughing until their cheeks hurt, and making memories they’ll carry long after the fireworks fade from the sky. ❤️🤍💙

As I watched these three race toward me with giant smiles and endless energy, I couldn’t help but think about how quickly these days pass. Childhood is made up of moments just like this—grass stains, happy squeals, wind-blown hair, and hearts full of wonder.

I love these kids more than words can ever express. They remind me every day to slow down, laugh louder, dream bigger, and find joy in the little things. Watching them grow is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I feel incredibly blessed to be part of their story.

Today, I’m grateful for freedom, family, laughter, and these sweet souls who make every day brighter. May their childhood be filled with adventures, sunshine, sparkler nights, and memories that last a lifetime. ✨🇺🇸

Life has been beautifully busy lately, and this week has been filled with everything I love about being a photographer in Northern Colorado. 📸✨
From sunrise reflections at Sprague Lake to winding mountain roads through Rocky Mountain National Park, I’ve spent my days chasing light, soaking in breathtaking views, and capturing the moments that make this area so special.

In between mountain adventures, I’ve wandered the charming streets of Old Town Fort Collins, where colorful flowers, historic buildings, and the energy of summer create the perfect backdrop for storytelling through my lens. Every corner seems to offer a new perspective, a hidden detail, or a beautiful moment waiting to be captured.

One of my favorite things about photography is that it encourages me to slow down and truly see the world around me—the way the light dances across the mountains, the quiet stillness of a lake, the laughter echoing through downtown, and the simple beauty found in everyday moments.

This week has been a reminder of just how lucky I am to call Colorado home and to spend my days exploring, creating, and preserving memories.
