Class of 2027 parents — those yearbook deadlines are coming up fast! 📸

I have a few senior session openings left in October: Oct. 3, 10, 11, 24 & 25.

My senior sessions are relaxed and very much about figuring out who your senior is. We wander, talk, chase good light, and create something that doesn't look like everyone else's senior photos.
Bring the cowboy hat, the Doc Martens, the guitar, the dog, the thrifted dress—or just bring yourself. We'll make it yours.

I’ve known Sabella for what feels like forever—the little sister of my son’s best friend who somehow grew up right before our eyes. 🤍

And now? She’s stepping into her senior year as this gorgeous, confident, adventurous young woman with SO much ahead of her.

We wandered through Lory State Park, climbed around the rocks, pulled out the cowboy boots and wildflowers, and ended up in the water at Watson Lake—because a little dirt has never scared this girl. And through it all, her mom was right there cheering her on. 🥹

Sabella, you have the kind of smile that lights up a photograph, but even more than that, I loved getting to capture the confidence behind it.

Class of 2027 seniors: I have a few October spots still open. If playful, adventurous and actually you sounds like your kind of senior session, let’s make some magic.

Sometimes you need to lose track of time to remember why you started.

It had been way too long since I picked up my camera with no agenda—no client, no shot list, no expectations. Just shooting for the fun and love of it.
Guffey, Colorado. The gorgeous Kodie. A little creative freedom. And a reminder of how much I love doing this.

Kodie is not only incredible in front of the camera, she’s also one seriously talented entrepreneur—and exactly the kind of person who makes you want to keep creating.

Sometimes you just need to go make pictures because you can. And damn, that felt good.

If Netflix ever made a documentary about photographers... it wouldn’t be about cameras.

It would be about the things we somehow accept as completely normal.

→ Crawling through mud for the perfect angle.
→ Lying on the floor of a restaurant.
→ Convincing strangers that, no, we’re not actually crazy.
→ Carrying enough gear for a small expedition.

Every photographer has at least one story that starts with:

“So... this probably wasn’t my best idea.”

Forty looks pretty incredible on you—but then again, style has always been your thing. Leopard print, a little sparkle, vintage treasures, and a head full of creative ideas.

You're the kind of woman who always has her hands in a dozen beautiful projects—remodeling your home, dreaming up a photo studio, teaching at CSU, planting a vibrant garden full of roses. And somehow making it all look effortless.
