An ambitious girl with big dreams searching for the thrill of adventure and satisfaction of a beautiful image. As a born and raised Florida girl it was quite the change for me when I moved to Delaware in 2010. I had been in snow a few times in my life before when I was very young, but actually living surrounded by snow was a completely different for me. Watching the snow fall, creating a fresh icy
white coat on the ground was an inspiring experience for me. It astounded me that those who lived in area were not near as excited as I was. When I discovered this winter wonderland was going to melt away the next day I decided I just had to preserve this peaceful scene. I grabbed the little family digital camera and piled on layers of winter clothes - I am a Florida girl after all and can barely tolerate cold temperatures. I ran outside and went at it! After about an hour my hands, toes and nose were numb even with the layers. I refused to go back inside until I had taken a photo I felt captured the image I had in mind. Nearly 3 hours later I made my way back inside and loaded the photos up to my mom’s laptop. I looked at every single image over and over again in disappointment. The photos just didn’t project the raw passion and high energy I had put into them, they weren’t good enough. That day was the beginning of my passion to create images infused with beauty, creativity and adventure. It is my passion to capture moments in time that otherwise you would never again be able to see, I want to capture and preserve memories. I want to travel the world and share all of the wonder and beauty I discover with the rest of the world. It is my mission to give the feeling I got while watching that snow fall, I want to inspire others with what inspires me.
