1 year ago today I witnessed the most photogenic tornado of my career in Wellfleet Nebraska. I was one of the first on scene, witnessing the initial debris ball even before a funnel appeared. Being on my way back from the Old Town art fair in Chicago when I started to get hailed on I ducked south so my van windows wouldn't get blown out. This gave me a unique vantage point of the tornado as well as the structure, making for some amazing shots! On the ground for 57 minutes and moved at an average of 4 mph through rural fields.
