There are some new faces around here, so I thought I’d introduce myself!
I’m Alei (pronounced “Alley”), and these are a few photos of my favorite people in the whole dang world—sometimes ya just gotta set up the tripod and take some family photos 😆. I’ve always been drawn to photography and have been doing it professionally for about eight years.

I have the sweetest, most selfless husband, and he is the very best girl dad to our three daughters. Having three girls was not on my bingo card, and yet here we are 😂 They are our treasures and fill our life to the brim with giggles, emotion, and all the sparkly sparkles—physically and metaphorically 🧚🏼‍♀️. We love Jesus with our whole hearts, and He is in and around our conversation daily 🤍.

I’m an introvert with a pretty tender heart, though you wouldn’t always guess it because in between the heart-to-hearts, I absolutely love goofing off and belly laughing.

I love my family and our love so much, and I know so many other parents feel the same way. It’s incredibly special to me to capture these wonderful, crazy, fleeting moments through photography. Families, couples, new babies, marriage—these big and small seasons shape our lives, and having a snapshot of them is such a gift. We’re all in the middle of something beautiful, and I’m grateful to be here to help capture every little moment.

It was so fun photographing this sweet family! We had a few twists and turns during their session, and just as we were wrapping up, a MASSIVE herd of elk emerged into the field with us. There was nothing between us and them and that fight or flight kicked right in for all of us. We made like some bananas and split real quick 😅.

I’ve had the blessing of knowing Staci and Marcus for over half my life. To think I once stood as an awkward little pr***en at their wedding, and now I get to capture the beautiful family they’ve become—it’s been so precious to witness their story unfold.

When you and one of your besties have babies 2 days apart 💕!! I was just in awe at how beautiful she is when I was editing these photos.

We were placing bets on if this shoot was actually going to take place or not because both of our babies were just about due 😆! I’m so happy we made it through, because these moments are just so precious to document!

The Buntings ☺️!! You will find no shortage of laughter or love when these goofballs are around and I am so grateful they are in my life. I loved getting to capture this rip-roarin family this summer 💛.

I cannot believe it’s already August….?
It feels like one minute it’s barefoot walks and late sunsets and then suddenly it’s school supply lists and calendars filling up!! 😮‍💨
I often hear families saying that even though it is sometimes difficult to follow through with setting photos up, it’s so so worth it to have the photos to look back on and remember these seasons of life that go oh so fast and I couldn’t agree more.
