May the fourth be with you ⛴️⭐️🥥 05.04.26

Jack & Jackie’s wedding was out of this world in every way! They’re not only the sweetest humans, but the most intentional too. Every detail was chosen with so much care because of how much it meant to them. From her custom pleated veil that tied in their immersive Star Wars theme to his meteorite & dinosaur cuff links and matching ring, and adventuring to 8 grocery stores to find rambutan for one of their mocktails… these are just a few ways their personal touches and styles were part of every piece.

Beyond the details, the heart of their celebration was sharing the day with their people and making genuine memories. They ended the night with one of their favorite experiences—the tiki bar! Everyone got to try & enjoy their favorite glowing & flaming drinks and foods like the coconut shrimp. 🍤 It was epic, beautiful, totally-them, filled with love, happy tears, lots of laughter and truly a day everyone will always remember.

Thank you both so much for having me in California to capture your incredible wedding day 🫶🏼 cheers to marriage!!!

California on 35mm film + some digital ☀️

My feet seriously still feel fresh from dipping them in the cold ocean water and I’m filled with soul-level gratitude for the opportunity to travel to capture the most amazing wedding day for the most lovely people 🥹 I’d never been to California (except for spending like 36 hours inside of a convention center in dairy land in college so not reallyyyy) and I was SO excited to get to explore the beauty of a new place. I originally fell in love with photography through traveling and will always be inspired by landscapes, colors, culture, and experiences. I can thank my parents for my love of travel (and photos) so of course I asked them if they wanted to meet me here for a few days!

We got to explore so many bucket list spots, track down the best coffee we could find, admire the sea lions’ personalities, and it just felt like we were transported back 12+ years to summer vacations growing up.

Film has been my preferred medium for personal life & travel for 3 or 4 years now because as the photographer, it really makes me soak in the scene before I click any buttons. I know I have more limited shots and I want every single one to count so I can remember what most inspired & excited me. Plus, it keeps my travel photos from piling up in my editing queue bc my clients always come first 😆🫶🏼

Yes, I LOVE landscapes on film, but these film shots with my parents are ones I’ll treasure forever and smile at the memory of teaching them how to use my film camera 🤎

Enjoy a few of my favorite shots!

These two kicked their wedding day off in the sweetest way. Not only did they do a private first look with each other at the lake, but they followed it with a first look with all of their friends and family when they returned to the venue 🥹

It was so important to them to get to spend quality time with their loved ones and they truly made it a priority by planning plenty of space for moments like this!

Would you believe this entire session took place in a parking lot? 🤭

Admittedly, we do have some pretty great parking lots in Colorado! Audrey & Bret wanted their engagement photos to feel effortless in every way—and they did.

Their love was so effortless to capture, and we had a gorgeous mountain backdrop without an 8 mile hike to earn it. From the way they couldn’t help but smile when they looked at each other to the ease of the entire session, we were able to create the photos that felt like them in the place that felt like them. 🤍

Congratulations you two!!!
