Wandering around Mendocino is one of my most favorite things to do with my seniors. There are so many awesome spots to shoot all in one location! Dayana and I found lots of beautiful backdrops in the village, and ended our session at the beach. Great choice, right?!

Winter light can be so stunning! Emily had an amazing evening for her senior session. Can you tell some of these were shot in a campground? When the road down to the beach was flooded, we came up with another plan and it was pretty magical!

This session at Big River was spent playing, laughing and snuggling... I've said this many times before, but photos always bring up memories, and I want you to remember the fun you had together while having your photos taken. I don't want you to look at the perfect photo on the wall and only think about the stress and threats (😉) behind the scenes to make it happen.
Take the time to style your outfits, pick the perfect location for your family, and then let go! Let go of the expectations of perfection, let go of the worry that your kids won't behave... just have fun! This is what happens when you do!!!

Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving! I did! I spent the week with very limited internet available, so while I was able to edit, I wasn't able to share sneak peeks or send out galleries. Today is all about catching up on all the online things, like sharing the slideshow from Jazzy's senior session. I loved this girl's session, and loved that she asked for a few pics with her Jeep... I'm a Jeep girl myself, and my very first one was white like hers. So fun!
