able to process personal checks. When can I see photos of my soldier? It takes up to three weeks for training photos to show up on our site ftbenningphotos.com. Due to the high volume of trainees on Sandhill we are unable to post every photo taken at reception (Soldiers in camouflage uniform). Can i purchase photos, yearbooks, DVD's, & CD's from past cycles? We will keep inventory of past cycles for up to six months. Anything beyond that we will not be able to reorder. Can we come to your studio to take a family portrait? We would love to take photos of your family while you are visiting Fort Benning. Package prices will remain the same. See general information for pricing. If my soldier already purchased his photos can i purchase more? Once your soldier has been given the opportunity to purchase his items (Which is done at their unit sale) we will allow family members to purchase additional items. Why cant I find my sons dress blue uniform pictures? Unfortunately Leonards Studio does not take every Units dress blue photos. Refer below to KEY POINTS. KEY POINTS:
■ Images from Basic Training can be viewed at www.ftbenningphotos.com. Simply locate your Soldier's Unit in the drop down menu and enjoy!
■ Images from training are uploaded to www.ftbenningphotos.com automatically as they are processed in our lab – this is a process that can sometimes take up to three weeks depending on other units that are also training.
■ We will attend a minimum of 7 training events for each unit, but we’ll always try and get more – We focus on the “crowd pleasers” such as Gas Chamber, Obstacle Course, Rappel Tower, ETC…
■ It’s important to know that some units conduct these events during the first couple of weeks of training – while others will conduct these events later in the cycle.
■ We will stop collecting footage approximately 1 month prior to graduation – This gives us time to layout, proof, print, bind, and deliver the yearbooks to Soldiers before they graduate
■We take ASU (Dress Uniform) photos for some Units. Not all Units are able to take ASU photos, and others can be found here (www.soldier-photos.com). These are usually taken the week of graduation. We will post previews for you on our FB Wall. The Dress Blues package is always $42.
■We film graduation ceremonies for 1-81 AR and 5-15 CAV. For all other Basic Training Units please contact Mahone Video Production at (706)575-2362.
■ Come visit our Studio during Family Day or after Graduation - No appointment needed. Packages of these photos are $42 and include 5 sheets of photos. No sitting fee – Walk out with your prints. Leonard’s has been a family of photographers since 1900. We’ve seen some pretty significant changes in the technological processes that drive our industry, but we’ve never wavered from our commitment to customer-centered, personal service for each and every job. The process at Fort Benning starts when soldiers arrive at 30th AG. Here we have a photographer that will take every trainee's picture for Military Record. At that time soldiers will fill out orders for the items that they plan to purchase at a later date. Approximately week five of the cycle, our team will visit the Units to where Soldiers will have an opportunity to both view and purchase there Initial Entry Photo Package and Platoon Pictures, as well as finalize there orders for there End of Cycle Yearbook and DVD of Training. Soldiers have the option of shipping their prints home for an additional $3.00. If a Soldier chooses to have his prints mailed, they will be mailed out within a week via USPS (approx. 5-10 days). Family members and Friends are welcome to call our studio and purchase items for themselves; however, we will only accept these orders after we have visited their Soldier’s Unit. This policy helps prevent unwanted duplicate orders that sometimes occur due to the limited communication between Soldiers and Family. All of our custom items are delivered to the Soldiers the week of graduation. Soldiers assigned to either 5-15 CAV or 1-81 AR have the opportunity to purchase a DVD of their Graduation Ceremony. These will be mailed 4-6 weeks after the ceremony.
