As summer winds down and the nights start turning cooler, Emma's session just oozes with that late-summer sunshine.

That golden light, warm evenings, and the feeling of trying to hold onto those last few carefree days of summer… there is just something magical about this time of year.

Emma absolutely glowed, and her session was the perfect reminder that even as summer begins to fade, there is still plenty of sunshine left to soak in.

I had Uli's session on the books for quite a while, and when I read his questionnaire stating we would be starting on the Lake Mills High School stage and ending with an “Alice in Wonderland set,” I couldn't have been more intrigued!

And let me tell you… his session did not disappoint.

Uli is the youngest in this theater family, and according to him, they saved the best for last. I'm not going to argue with that! 😉 I absolutely loved that his big brothers all took part in the session, making the experience even more special.

From the stage to Wonderland, this session was full of personality, creativity, and everything that makes senior sessions so much fun.

Uli is thinking about attending UW–Stevens Point to study writing, and after seeing his imagination and creativity come to life during this session, I think that's going to be a perfect fit.

Can't wait to see where his next chapter takes him!

Spent some time with Jameson yesterday morning. We got a up close look at the new scoreboard.

He's looking forward to continuing his running career in college.

We had a good laugh at his leg tan lines, which just means he put on some miles this summer getting ready for the cross country season.

He's looking to add a little more hardware to the collection.

Some days just go straight into the memory bank—and this was definitely one of them.

The day started at 8:00 AM on the track for a fun senior session. Then it was back to the office for a quick sneak-peek edit from the night before before heading out for a senior banner shoot.

And let me tell you… senior banner shoots never disappoint. The kids always bring the personalities, the poses, and usually a few things that make me wonder what exactly is happening. I love it!

Then it was off to senior session #2 of the day. And just wait until you see these! I absolutely LOVE photographing theater kids. They are so fun, creative, and completely willing to embrace all the extra. 🎭📸

But apparently, my workday wasn't quite over yet.

On the drive home, we encountered a pig. And not a cute little pig casually wandering around.

Nope.

This pig was making a full-on break for freedom down Highway 18. 🐷💨

I saw two guys walking alongside her and pulled over.

“You got this?”

“NO!!!”

Well… apparently that was my invitation to join the rescue mission.

I got out and they asked, “Were you sent?” “No, man. I just wanted to make it back to Fort in time to get dinner.” 😂

But I've seen enough 4-H pig shows in my day that I figured I might actually be able to help. So I opened the trunk, grabbed a light stand, extended it out, and grabbed the changing room.

Yes… my photography equipment became livestock equipment.

I managed to get in front of her and turn her around after a little… discussion. She was NOT interested in heading back home.

Then her farmer showed up.

And that pig took off like she had somewhere VERY important to be. I had no idea pigs could run that fast! 🐷💨💨

So, I missed getting to go out for dinner, but thankfully Culver's did not disappoint. I tried the Fried Pickle Pub Burger—no bacon—and honestly, after chasing a pig down Highway 18, it felt like a pretty fitting end to the day.

Senior portraits. Banner shoots. Theater kids. Pig rescue.

Just another completely normal day at TJK Wolf Productions. 😂📸🐷

Ayden had the perfect night for senior pictures! We started out on his home field, where we had the perfect mix of sunshine and clouds—pretty much a photographer’s dream.

From there, we headed to a more country setting to showcase another side of Ayden and his country roots. From the football field to the country roads, this session was the perfect reflection of who he is and the things he loves.

A look at last night’s home opener as the Jefferson Eagles hosted the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks!

This matchup is always a battle, especially with many of these boys playing together as teammates on the Jefferson County United Soccer Club. But for one night, friendships were put aside as they competed for school bragging rights!

Every move was strategic, every challenge was intense, and neither team was willing to back down. It was the kind of game that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

In the end, Fort Atkinson came out on top, 2–1.

A great night of local soccer and a rivalry that never disappoints! ⚽️📸

Aubrey has been doing competitive cheer since she was about 12 years old, and she has some pretty amazing stories to tell—including being in the Guinness World Records!

She also cheers for her high school team, the Lodi Blue Devils, and we realized that I'll be covering a game she will be cheering at.

After we captured all of her awards and some of the things that have been such a big part of her cheer career, we headed out to the park for the rest of her session.

And then came one of my favorite moments…

At the end of her shoot, one of her teammates who live in the area surprised her with a big hug! 🥹

Those unexpected moments are exactly why I love senior sessions. We can plan the outfits, locations and poses, but sometimes the best memories are the ones we never planned for. ❤️

Aubrey, I hope you always remember how much fun this season of life has been—and how many people are cheering you on along the way!

Like most boys, Carter wasn’t exactly thrilled about the idea of taking photos for an hour. 😂 But, like most boys who love their mom, he was willing to do it for her. ❤️

Carter is thinking about going into the medical field and has already toured both UW–La Crosse and UW–Madison as he starts figuring out what comes next.

And let me tell you… this boy can MOG for the camera! 😎📸 Of course, I love a good serious look, but he has way too great of a smile not to show it off!

I think we got a pretty good mix of both—and maybe even convinced him that senior pictures aren’t that bad.
