06/09/2026
This has been a decision I’ve wrestled with for a while.
I’ve prayed about it, cried about it, sought advice, and tried to keep pushing forward because that’s what I’ve always done. But over the last several weeks, God has continued to place the same thing on my heart, and I’ve reached a point where I know it’s time to listen.
For the remainder of 2026, I will be closing all new session bookings.
To those who know me personally, you know I rarely slow down. Between photography, motorsports, work, trying to keep up with family and friends, and everything else life has brought this year, I’ve spent a lot of time pouring into everyone around me while neglecting some things that need my attention. There are several personal matters that I need to focus on, and I owe it to myself, my family and friends, my clients, and the work I deliver to take the time to get those things in order.
This doesn’t mean I’m stepping away from photography. Photography is still something I love deeply, and I am incredibly thankful for every person who has trusted me to capture their memories. For the rest of this year, my focus will be on the seniors who have already booked with me and fulfilling the commitments I’ve already made to other clients who have booked sessions with me.
If you’re hoping to book a session with me in 2026, the only sessions that will be available will be through any mini sessions I choose to offer throughout the remainder of the year.
This wasn’t an easy decision, and truthfully, it’s one I’ve fought against for a while. But I’ve learned that sometimes obedience means slowing down, even when we don’t want to. Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is acknowledge when we need to step back, refocus, and trust that God knows what He’s doing.
To every client, friend, family member, and supporter who has encouraged me along the way—thank you. Your support has helped grow this little dream of mine into something I never imagined, and I am beyond grateful for each and every one of you.
I don’t know exactly what the next season looks like, but I know Who is leading it, and that’s enough for me.
Thank you for understanding and for allowing me the space to take care of the things that matter most right now. 🤍
Signed with so much love and gratitude,
Kaitlyn💗
