Meet Coco! 🐾
This tiny girl was often found roaming the streets, and kind neighbors would take her home each time. But the last time, they said they didn't want her anymore — so Coco made her way to Dogwood instead.
Sometimes the best things happen when the wrong door closes. Coco is just 7 pounds of pure sweetness, great with dogs and people alike, playful, and absolutely loves her toys — even the ones that are almost as big as she is. 🧸
If you've got room in your heart (and your lap — she's tiny) for a girl who deserves a soft landing, Coco would love to meet you. 💛

Week 35/52 · Theme: Shape with Light ✨
Meet Niki! Isn’t she beautiful glowing in the golden hour light, perched up on that rock looking like the supermodel she is.
After our photo session, as she was leaving I told her, "have a wonderful life, sweet girl" — hoping she'd find her happily ever after soon. Turns out I didn't have long to wait, because lucky for her, she found her home before I could even get this posted! I love when that happens.
So even though she's already off living her best life, she was too cute not to share. Congrats on your new life, Niki. Now go be loved and adored and live the happy life every dog deserves! 💛

Week 34/52Frames: Humor 🌻🐾
I had to scramble a little at the last minute for this week’s photo and remembered the sunflower costumes from last Halloween.
Jack (left) has been doing this for over seven years. At this point, he knows that occasionally I’m going to put something ridiculous on his head and take pictures.
Trendy has never done anything like this before, and he was a total rockstar. Although he might be questioning what he got himself into when he joined the Blonde Brigade. 😂
It will be good training for Halloween and all of the other dress up holidays we celebrate at school. Poor Trendy has no idea what’s coming.

In just over ONE DAY, the Tails of Sonoma County Book Cover Contest has already raised more than $6,800!

I knew people loved their dogs. I knew this community loved Dogwood. But watching everyone vote, share, campaign for their dogs, and get their friends and families involved has been so much fun — and we are just getting started.
