My name is Heather Holmes and I am a photographer based in Lynchburg VA. My speciality is Children and Families. My style is raw and natural, not posed.

I love to capture special moments of everyday life! I fell in love with photography as a young girl. My dad use to take pictures of us girls growing up all the time, and I was a ham for the camera. It wasn't until I had my first child that I began to have such a passion for it. I loved watching his every step and capturing it on film and that is when I decided this is how I want to spend my days,

capturing these rare moments for others as well. I love to capture those very real moments. Sessions go best when mom and dad are relaxed and just talk and play with their children. Before you know it, everyone forgets they are being photographed! Sweet Rose Photography is based in the Lynchburg, VA, area and was started in 2010 after the birth of my third child. It was then that I decided I really wanted to learn more about my camera and the Art of Photography. I am a northern, big city girl living in a small southern community and I love it. I am the proud mother of three amazing children, two boys and a little girl. I am truly blessed and thankful to God for this wonderful gift he has given me!
