Even after 113 years, this bond between father and son is so evident and important. This is why I like what I do. I imagine my photos being handed down a family. And why it’s so important for even the parents to have regular photos taken.

So I’ve been doing a thing this week. While my lovely wife and kids have been holding the fort down at home, I’ve been in Las Vegas catching up on some new ideas, learning some processes to improve some old ideas and just getting to hang around with like minded small business owners who speak the same language!! Coming home refreshed and a little recharged (though tired because it’s been a busy week). Look out world I’m coming home!! Now if only my flight (which has been delayed two times this morning) can get me home!!

“I would never apologize for photographing rocks. Rocks can be very beautiful…” - Ansel Adams

When photographer Ansel Adams looked through his camera lens, he saw more than rocks, trees, and rivers. He saw art. Hues of wildness surfaced in this great American photographer's stunning black-and-white prints. And for most of his life, Yosemite National Park was Adams' chief source of inspiration. Born on February 20, 1902, his legacy includes helping to elevate photography to an art comparable with painting and music, and equally capable of expressing emotion and beauty. Learn more about Adams’ time at Yosemite at https://www.nps.gov/yo…/learn/historyculture/ansel-adams.htm

Photography is an important part of national park history. Photographers took pictures to show why special places needed protection. Read more at https://www.nps.gov/subjects/photography/index.htm

I originally started my business to put myself through college. After getting a job in my field I put it on the back burner and just did photography for friends/family/past customers. But when my kids were born I wanted to stay home more. It’s been a struggle to get it going this time around but the idea that I might be able to work from our home and see my kids more is what keeps pushing me to build this business up again.

We’re spreading love to dad-owned businesses this week by featuring them on Facebook for Business! ❤️👨‍👦

2️⃣ Tell us what led you to start a business.

We’ll be selecting a few small businesses who’ve completed the steps above to share on our channels.

One of my favorite things to do is look around at the photos of my children growing up. Especially in these trying and stressful times it gives me happiness reliving fond memories long gone. Children grow up way too fast. Make sure you are documenting that growth to help preserve those cherished memories.

How many times have you wanted to take a family photo, maybe for your Christmas cards, and then simply been too busy? Life gets hectic, and you find you don’t have time to wrangle all the kids and sit everyone down for a proper photo. Or maybe you have albums full of photos of your … Why You Sho...

I’ve loved this collapsing building on this farm for years. I keep meaning to take my real camera and do it right. But today was too beautiful to pass up.
