POV: You're at a session with me and glance over at the setup and think, ā€œIs this really going to work?ā€

A phone photo taken by a client's parent mid-session VS the final image using my camera, lighting, experience and editing.

This is why I always say: Trust. The. Process.

Even when it doesnā€™t look perfect in the moment; the lighting isn't right, the weather isn't 'perfect', the angle or pose feels off... Iā€™m seeing the light, the angles, the final image before it ever comes together, and know what my experience and editing abilities hold

Thereā€™s something so special about freezing a season of life you know will pass too quickly.

The tiny toes, the curious eyes, the way mom and dad look at each other like ā€œCan you believe this is ours?ā€

Family sessions like this arenā€™t about perfect poses, theyā€™re about connection, closeness, and capturing the love that already exists. The giggles, the snuggles, the quiet in-between moments that end up meaning the most.
