A week ago today, my dear friend and her children tragically lost their husband and father in an accident.

The Torres Family and Ibarra Family lost their son and brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

Miguel was such a fun spirited and generous being. He loved his family to no end. He was always so silly and so friendly with all of those he came in contact with.

He would never pass an opportunity to talk photography with me or business with my husband.

He was so supportive and encouraging when it came to photography. He graciously allowed me to use a few of his vehicles to help bring my visions to life.

I am so honored to have been able to capture so many beautiful family memories and milestones that include him.

Mayra, you, the kids, his parents, siblings and all of the family continue to be in my prayers daily. I send you all so much love. May his spirit live on in all of the unforgettable memories you carry of him. Love you!

Balancing the summer fun and my littles’ birthdays with work had been a bit of a challenge lately.⁣
⁣
But, all of the recent sessions have really been an amazing reminder of how much I love what I do.⁣
⁣
No matter how many years I do this, I will never stop saying how much of an honor it is to capture each of your milestones.⁣

This season has been filled with caring for my littles, keeping up with their extra curricular activities and enjoying any and all the family time we get. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I’ve slowed down exponentially in the number of sessions I book per month to allow me the chance to soak in all these moments with my cubs, yet still provide you all with quality work.⁣⁣

This recent maternity session was such a dream!!! I met this family when they were preparing to welcome their little girl. Being able to capture their growing family is a true honor.⁣

I hope your 2021 was one full of blessings and victories…and if you feel like it wasn’t…simply making it through the year is a blessing and a victory! So, I hope you rejoice in that!⁣⁣⁣

My year ended with a little bit of chaos and with all of the illnesses going around right now, it’s also started with a bit of chaos 🥴. ⁣⁣⁣

It’s not that something big happened, or you have new exciting news. You just realize how much of a blessing all the little moments in life are… like waking up, having a home, being surrounded by family, the ability to work…etc. ⁣

Sometimes we get so caught up in life that it’s easy to forget how much of a blessing simply getting up each morning is. ⁣

We enjoyed the fresh mountain air and scenery during their engagement session…we didn’t quite enjoy the flies, gnats and mosquitos haha. ⁣

Oh, hello! It’s nice to be back! I couldn’t help but share these photos from this sweet baby shower. ⁣⁣

Becoming a photographer has brought blessings in different aspects of life: it’s pushed me out of my comfort zone (I’m really a bit awkward lol), it’s strengthened my faith and it’s allowed me to meet some pretty amazing people that have become incredible friends. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

Last month we celebrated and the upcoming arrival of her baby boy.⁣⁣⁣

This celebration was so beautiful and filled with lovely detail. The games were fun and I even won a couple of them. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

Sara, I’m so happy for you and your family and the little blessing that is to come. I’m so grateful for our friendship and that we were able to celebrate this special time with you. Can’t wait to meet your little man.

It’s no surprise as she has an amazing big sister herself who has been a great example.⁣
⁣
I love watching her give her baby brother so much love. Her morning greetings to him are the sweetest. Listening to her talk to him so softly and loving makes my heart melt. She loves feeling the softness of his hair with her little finger.⁣
⁣
It’s as if I traveled back in time and I’m watching her and her big sister all over again. ⁣
⁣
The days are long but the years are short and being able to enjoy these moments is a blessing. Thank you, Lord!
