I've always been a creative, even before I was creative for work.
As a little kid, I was constantly getting into crafts - coloring, painting, making dolls out of toilet paper rolls and scrap fabric.
As I got a older, I drew fantasy drawings of dragons and fae creatures, wrote awful fiction, and started taking photos of everything.
As a teen and young adult, I dove into music and photography.
And then I made it my job.
And I still love it, but as creatives, even a professional ones, we need a place to play. We need places where it's okay to suck at what we're doing.
In this season of early motherhood, it's been my kids' birthday cakes, my garden, cozy games, and even social media content.
