This one is personal.

Last week, I had the privilege of traveling to Knoxville to watch this young man walk across the stage as he graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee.

They say time is a thief. Just 4 years ago, I was taking his senior portraits at Folsom Lake. And just over 20 years ago, he was an adorable toddler holding my hand while I said “I do” to his dad.

Being asked to capture this milestone for him meant more to me than I can put into words. Being his bonus mom for the last 20 years has been a wild ride, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Aaron, I am so proud of you and so excited to see where this next chapter takes you. We can’t wait to visit you in Nashville.
