Maylight Studio is 5 years old! 💙5️⃣🎉

Well technically, I started Maylight part-time from a home studio in Oakland 9 years ago in 2017. But in 2021, we bought a house in the Sacramento area, and I made the VERY scary decision to start from scratch in a new city, leaving all my other income streams behind to run a full-time studio in a retail space with monthly overhead (‼️), 90 miles away from my roster of existing clients. Talk about a blank slate. 😨

Needless to say, things went pretty well. 😊 This milestone feels AWESOME! And what could sweeten it more than the news that I've won Best Photographer in Folsom for the third year in a row! 💙🫶🏆
