Luray Caverns you are beautiful.

The scope of these formations is laughable in these photos. The caverns are absolutely massive and the sheer size of the rooms makes you forget youā€™re actually underground.

Dream Lake (first 3 photos) was probably the spot we spent the longest, trying to overcome the illusion of the reflection despite the fact that it looks as if the floor drops and slopes lower.

Totems, Saracenā€™s Tent (yes, the rocks look like ribbon) and the largest instrument in the world , the Great Stalactite Organ. Donā€™t forget to make a wish in the well.

Other caverns in the area are nice, but this one is absolutely bonkers.

It takes a lot of courage to step into the spotlight and put your heart into a performance. Rising Voices cabaret provided an opportunity for these young performers to put it all on the line, and that they did. Whether a solo or a duet or trio, there was so much talent on stage that night. Bravo to these kids, theyā€™ve got what it takes ā­ļø

The clouds were less than forgiving on the trek along Skyline Drive , but I love the dramatic feel they added to the pictures. If anything, it gives us a reason to go back on a sunny day to see the full view.
