There is something so incredibly special about watching a mama’s breastfeeding journey unfold year after year and being trusted to document such meaningful chapters along the way.

These sessions have held such a special place in her heart, and that makes them even more meaningful to me. Her breastfeeding journey has been beautiful, powerful, and uniquely hers—and I’m so thankful she continues to come back and allow me to preserve these memories for her.

There is just something about lifestyle sessions that has my whole heart. 🤎

No stiff poses. No worrying about everyone looking at the camera. No pressure for everything to be perfect.

Just your family… being your family.

Bake cookies together in your kitchen. 🍪 Let the kids make a mess, sneak bites of dough, and cover the counter in flour. Spend an evening working in your garden. Pick vegetables, water flowers, and let little hands dig in the dirt. 🌿

Have me come out to your farm and document the place your babies are growing up. Feed the animals, love on the horses, run through the pasture, or pile into the side-by-side.

Or make it a pool day. 💦 Swimsuits, wet hair, cannonballs, popsicles, belly laughs and all.

Lifestyle sessions can be almost anything:

August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month. 🤎

There is something so incredibly powerful about this season of motherhood—the quiet moments, the long nights, the tiny hands resting against your skin, and the way your baby looks up at you as if you are their entire world.

Breastfeeding can be beautiful, exhausting, emotional, empowering, challenging, and deeply personal—all at the same time. Every journey looks different. Some last days, some months, some years. Some are easy, and some are fought for one feeding at a time.

This month is about celebrating and supporting the mothers who breastfeed, honoring the work their bodies are doing, and reminding them that they deserve encouragement, patience, and a whole lot of love.

These are the moments that may feel ordinary right now, but someday they’ll be the ones you’d give anything to hold onto for just a little longer. The sleepy nursing sessions. The milk-drunk smiles. The little fingers curled around yours. The closeness that belongs only to this tiny chapter of your story.

So here’s to every breastfeeding mama. 🤎
