Just a quick check in as we round out the rest of summer and move into fall & the holidays! PLEASE REMEMBER; No sessions are booked or held until your contract is signed and your retainer is paid. With the extremely limited amount of open spots I have left on the calendar to take on more newborns and cake smashes, I truly can not hold sessions for anyone without it being on the booking system. If you have reached out and we have chatted about a session, that session is not held until the booking is completed on the link. Can I occasionally pop in a last minute booking, yes and I always try my very best, lately I find myself having to turn away a few people a month looking for last minute sessions when I’ve had to close my books and it’s makes me incredibly sad.

Next thing is proofing galleries: when you receive your gallery and it needs to be sent back to me for final edits, please please please do that within the 3 day window and let me know when its set. As long as you’ve done that I will get the final gallery back to you within 24 hours. Once we leave that 3 day window I’ve moved onto sending another group of galleries out and it will take me a few days to get them back to you. I am putting in more then 70 hours a week making sure everyone is getting responses and galleries back as fast as I possibly can! I refuse to give into the AI movement and use it, I’m still doing everything by hand!

I am so extremely grateful to each and every single one of you who continues to trust me with your most precious memories and moments, I promise that I never take it for granted!

Every day, someone puts on a uniform knowing they may be walking into someone else's worst day.
They miss birthdays.
They work holidays.
They leave family dinners.
They step into situations most people spend their lives hoping to avoid.
And they do it because someone has to.
Behind every badge, turnout coat, radio, headset, and uniform is a person with a story; a person who has chosen a life of service to complete strangers.
Before becoming a full-time photographer, I proudly served in EMS & lived through some of the worst imaginable days as a law enforcement family. Although my career has changed, my admiration and appreciation for the first responder community never will. Having lived that life, I understand the sacrifices that come with it-not only for those who wear the uniform, but also for the loved ones who stand beside them.
For years, I've wanted to find a meaningful way to give back.
This October, that dream becomes a reality.

🚨The Called to Serve Project 🚨
An annual portrait initiative created to honor the men and women who dedicate their lives to serving our communities.
This complimentary portrait experience is open to:
πŸš“ Law Enforcement
πŸš’ Firefighters
πŸš‘ EMS Personnel
🎧 911 Dispatchers
Each participant will receive:
🀍 A professional individual portrait in uniform
🀍 A family portrait with the people who mean the most to them
🀍 Two complimentary digital images
🀍 The opportunity to purchase additional images or professional prints if desired
But perhaps the most meaningful part of this project won't be the photographs.

Each participant will be invited to answer one simple question:
"What does being called to serve mean to you?"
Their voices and their stories will become part of an ongoing storytelling projectβ€”one that honors the people behind the uniforms and preserves their stories for years to come.
Because while uniforms are eventually hung up, the stories of the people who wore them deserve to live on forever.
