From the moment Amanda arrived in that cherry-red classic convertible, I knew this day was going to be something special. The family renovated this chapel themselves — every beam, every golden window — and it showed. You could feel the love poured into every corner of it.
We had tears at the first look, golden light on a vintage truck, and fireworks over the water to send them off right. And keeping every single guest laughing all night long? That was all thanks to NRV Photo Booth Rentals — seriously, the life of the party! 🎆🚗

This morning on the Blue Ridge Parkway, two people chose each other with mountain views for miles, wildflowers in hand, and their pup by their side. 🐾
There's something about an elopement that just hits different — no noise, no timeline pressure, just the two of you and a moment you'll never forget. I am so honored to have been there for it.

After an afternoon downpour, the clouds parted and gave us this. ✨

This beautiful family gathered at Primland Resort in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Meadows of Dan, Virginia — three generations, all those little ones, and the most beautiful post-storm light. That fresh, clear air and those glowing mountain views were absolutely worth the wait.

There is something so special about extended family sessions — the chaos, the laughter, the grandparents watching their people all together. This family was pure joy from start to finish.

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause. 🇺🇸

Not just for the gatherings and the long weekend — but to truly remember those who gave everything so we could keep living these ordinary, precious days.

The laughter around a backyard table. The kids running barefoot in the grass. The quiet moments between the people you love most. These are the moments worth preserving — the ones that feel fleeting but mean everything.

Today I'm thinking about the families who keep their loved ones close through photographs on the mantle, through stories told again and again, through a love that doesn't fade with time.

To every person who served, and to the families who carry their memory — thank you. From the bottom of my heart.

Some evenings are just made to be remembered. 🌅

Last night on the Blue Ridge Parkway, with a warm Virginia breeze rolling in and the sky doing things that honestly felt unfair to the rest of us — two people stood together and chose each other. I had the honor of being there for every second of it.

There's something about an elopement that strips everything down to what actually matters. No distractions. Just the two of them, the light, and a moment that belongs entirely to them.
And then... we had a visitor.

When you show up to your elopement in blue satin heels and look this gorgeous, apparently the universe decides to send you a real-life Disney princess moment — and honestly? We were all here for it. 🦌

These are just a few of the images from an evening I won't forget anytime soon. Grateful doesn't even begin to cover it.
