Hi, I’m Lindsay! 🤍

If you’re new around here, I thought it was probably time we officially got to know each other.

14 years ago, I started Lindsay Ott Photography with a camera, a love for beautiful images, and a heart for documenting people and the moments that matter most.

I began photographing weddings and quickly realized there was something so special about being invited into these incredibly meaningful moments.

And after 14 years, I can honestly say…I still love it just as much.

I love the in-between moments. The nervous excitement before walking down the aisle. The way a bride looks at her groom when she thinks no one is watching. The laughter that happens when everyone finally relaxes.

And I love watching families grow—documenting the tiny hands, the big personalities, the belly laughs, the snuggles, and all of those little moments that somehow become the memories you treasure most.

Because whether I’m photographing a wedding, a growing family, or a season of life that you never want to forget, my goal is always the same:

To create photographs that allow you to feel it all over again years from now.

Images that become part of your family’s story and are passed down through generations.

But when I’m not behind my camera, you’ll probably find me…

✨ Trying a new recipe in the kitchen

✨ Or probably talking about photography…because apparently I don’t know how to turn it off. 😂

I’m a big believer that life is made up of the little moments—and those are the moments worth remembering.

Fourteen years.

It’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me.

When I first picked up a camera, I never imagined it would lead me to witness so many of life’s most meaningful moments. Over the past 14 years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of photographing hundreds of love stories, growing families, joyful celebrations, and memories that will be treasured for generations.

I’ve watched couples become parents. I’ve photographed siblings’ weddings years apart. I’ve hugged mothers who have become dear friends and celebrated milestones alongside families who welcomed me into their lives.

Photography has given me so much more than a career—it has given me purpose.

To every couple who trusted me with one of the most important days of your lives… to every family who invited me back year after year… and to everyone who has shared my name, encouraged my business, prayed for me, or simply followed along on this journey…

Thank you.

Your support has allowed me to spend the last 14 years doing something I truly love, and I don’t take that gift for granted.

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day happens before the celebration ever begins. 🤍

While guests are arriving and excitement is building, my team is often carefully gathering the little details that tell the story of the day—the wedding shoes, the rings, the heirloom jewelry, the handwritten vows, and the sentimental pieces that mean so much to my couples.

But what many people don’t see are the moments behind the scenes.

The veil being steamed one last time. The bridesmaids helping button a dress. A mother quietly watching her daughter get ready. The nervous excitement before a first look. The hands adjusting cufflinks before walking down the aisle. And these are just a few of many of the moments that we capture.

These moments may never make it into the timeline, but they become some of the most meaningful memories.

I believe the beauty of a wedding day isn’t found only in the big moments. It’s found in the small, fleeting details that often go unnoticed—the moments that tell the story of how it all felt.

Because years from now, those little moments may be the ones you treasure most. ✨

I RAN them through their engagement session like a thunderstorm was about to hit us…and literally a thunderstorm WAS about to hit us! In 40 minutes max & an outfit change, we captured their love for each other, as shown in all these gorgeous & fun sneak peeks! McKinna & Hunter were troopers, quickly getting in & out of every pose, as they trusted me to capture their love as fast as I could. And look how good they turned out! We had fun + memories were made.
