There’s something about warm sunshine and slower evenings that makes me want to hold onto this season a little tighter. The days can feel long in the moment, but somehow these years still pass by far too quickly.

There’s something really special about getting to fully be there for your child’s birthday party instead of watching it through your phone screen.

When I photograph birthday parties, my goal is to preserve all of those little in-between memories so that you can stay present and soak in the celebration alongside your family and friends. You handle the hugs and cake cutting. I’ll handle the memories.

We've finally arrived at the final days of school for the 2026 high school graduates! Congratulations to all of the graduates and their families on such a huge accomplishment.

To the high school mamas, I know this season is so bittersweet. I know it feels like just yesterday you were dropping them off at their first day of kindergarten, and now here they are moving onto their next adventure. Mother’s Day week is here, and I know you are probably doing what you always do... taking care of everyone else.

I hope at some point this week you get a moment to look around and realize just how much love you pour into your family every single day.

The work you do matters, even when it feels ordinary.

These years are busy and exhausting, but they are the ones your children will remember most.

Class of 2026 Seniors, this is your last call to get your session on the calendar. My spring and early summer dates are nearly full, and I’ll be taking a limited number of Seniors the rest of the school year.

Mamas, I know how quickly this season starts to pick up speed, and these are the photos you’ll hold onto long after graduation has come and gone.

Class of 2027, it's not too early to start scheduling your session so you can have your photos ready early before the craziness of Senior year officially begins! Summertime is the best time to take photos in the gorgeous flower fields, so if you want your session in the beautiful blooms, now's the time to start planning!

What is my main goal during family sessions? It's not necessarily the "perfect" posed photo. It's your experience.

My goal is to give you a chance to slow down and simply be with your kids. You get to play with them and connect in a way that feels natural and unforced. I want you to look at your babies and truly soak in who they are in this stage, just as they are right now.

We often feel so overwhelmed by the weight of our responsibilities each day that we sometimes miss the moments where we are fully present with our little ones. Your family session is your chance to forget everything else and just have fun with your kiddos.

If this season of life has felt heavy or overwhelming, this is your sign to book a session and forget about everything else for a little while and just enjoy making some precious memories that you will cherish for years to come.
