I have a long term goal to photograph every state capitol. Two weeks back, I had the chance to check Colorado (number 7) off the list.

I woke up around 6 AM, enjoyed a brisk scooter ride through downtown, and was met with an incredible sunrise when I arrived. I just adore the design and craftsmanship of these old buildings.

I've had a roll of film (several, actually) sitting undeveloped in a drawer for close to 10 years. I recently found the time to get them processed, and what a gift to get another glimpse of Rufus. The best chocolate lab to ever live. 🐶
