Fun fact: I just added it up + their wedding will be my 100th wedding to photograph 🥹🥹 Couldn’t have picked a better one to celebrate that milestone!!

Wow, the emotions I am feeling looking at these photos. Me and my camera. We’ve seen so much together - the best days and some of the worst. I’ve seen a lot of happy tears, giggles, and big emotions through this beautiful lens.

This year will be 6 years in business, and I just can’t help but think of how fast it has gone by. I have met some of the best people through this wonderful job, and made some lifelong memories too.

I am at a loss of words of how thankful I am to be able to call photography my full-time job. I truly put my whole heart and life into Photos by Lucy. Late nights, early mornings, all day behind the computer, extremely hot or cold wedding days, keeping up with behind-the-scenes, phone calls, timelines, constant smiles and joy - I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thank you to every single one of you. More importantly, thank you to Jesus for guiding me through this journey. He is my greatest example of how to show love to every person.

I could post a photo from Ansley + Bradley’s engagement session everyday and never get tired of these two sweet people!!!

Due to all of our busy schedules, we had an early morning a few Fridays ago in Birmingham to photograph this precious couple!! They made the drive + early alarm clock soo worth it 😍 I can’t wait for their wedding in October at Turtle Point!!
