Hey friend!

Im still searching for a maternity couple to model for an educational shoot on January 19th!

Location: around Florence, AL
Time: 4:30pm

This time could move up earlier depending on cloud coverage so flexibility is a must, shoot date is a holiday 😘

Requirements:
✨ around 27-33 weeks pregnant
✨ comfortable showing some belly
✨ affectionate couple
✨ willing to be styled and purchase any additional wardrobe pieces not provided
(moms dress will likely come from my client closet and be selected with her complexion in mind)

Couple will receive 15 Edited Digital images from yours truly 🤍

I am absolutely gutted to hear about the passing of all of our favorite photographer this morning Joseph Romans.

From the very beginning of my journey in photography Joseph was always one of my biggest cheerleaders, he never viewed me as completion.

He saw my potential and wanted nothing more than to see me do well. Whether it be lending equiptment, or allowing me to test a lense before I spent the money on a new one myself.

He had the biggest heart in answering any question I may have had, even the ones that made me feel absolutely ridiculous without making me feel less-than for asking. He poured into me in ways he never had to without ever asking for anything in returned while I was still finding my way as an artist.

Joseph went out of his way to make sure I had support in an industry where most other photographers of his stature would have completely shunned me, and I can whole-heartedly say all those little nudges he gave along the way helped make me the photographer I am today.

His kindness inspired me to pour the same type of love and encouragement into my fellow creatives, to share without pause or want and to find the upmost joy in watching them blossom in the very same way.

Joseph is and will always be an ABSOLUTE light to the world of photography through the legacy he left through his art and all that he instilled in others.

I know I don’t just speak for myself when I say he wasnt just an incredible photographer,
he was an incredible human-being with the most giving heart and his passng is a tremendous loss to our entire community and beyond.

You will be missed greatly, my friend.

Please keep his wife Val, his family, team and all of his clients in your prayers. 🤍

I had such a blast running around the Defoor’s property capturing Landon’s senior portraits!

I could have easily spent the entire day creating and chasing the light with this boy-

I will always love a good beach session, especially with this precious family-

EVEN if my gallbladder decided it was ready to exit chat the same night (before my stubborn butt knew it was actually my gallbladder😅🤣)

and let me tell you- I'd likely do it again in a heart beat for the sweet soul that is Kansas Hall!❤

I felt they deserved a little extra magic in their family photos, especially after all the love and kindness they have showered me with while I was down and I hope I delivered just that with these gorgeous sneaks🥰

Yall ever heard the quote from Nora Ephron-

“What are you going to do? Everything, is my guess. It will be a little messy, but always embrace the mess." 😆

Well thats where we’re at in my world, that’s what we’re doing, and I intend on doing it with as much grace as humanly possible💕

I spent my summer in and out of hospitals and at appointments, away from my own babies (which if youre a momma you know can be absolutely gut wrenching on its own) but my providers got me fixed up, removed the gallbladder that attempted to take me out of existence and are now carefully monitoring my other organs due to the stress it put on them moving forward. 🙏🏽

Thank you to each and everyone of my clients that have shown me more understanding than I feel deserving of at times-

I am taking baby steps each day by the grace of God to get back to “normal” (whatever that is at this point 😆), sorting through the piles that have built up around me in the mean time.

Today I’m thoughtfully working toward creating space to finalize images and galleries the best that I can given the season I’m rolling out of.

Thank you all again for your kindness, prayers and patience, they have meant so much to me and my tribe!

Here’s an updated editing list that I will try my ABSOLUTE best to maintain! 😆🫶🏼💕

Hello Loves✨

I have regained my strength enough to at least type a short and sweet message for my clients,

I am currently undergoing some health issues and have been in and out of the hospital for the last month. I know we have galleries due and everyone is patiently waiting for photos, but I am in no condition to be working.

I sincerly apologize for the delay and any inconvenience I have caused in your life’s. I know waiting for your memories is hard, but I wont be making any with mine for awhile if I dont slow down and try to get on the right side of myself and focus on my own health.

I appreciate all the prayers and patience while I prepare for surgery.

Thank you guys for understanding because I don’t even understand right now. I love yall. I will hopefully have galleries back rolling soon, but right now I just need extra kindness to get me through this phase of life and I promise I will make it right on the big end of this awful health crisis 🤍

Thank yall for sticking this one out with me.

Me and this field have been inseparable lately 🤪

BUT DO YOU BLAME ME?!😍✨😍✨

Also meet my new friends\\🫶

If were being honest, I fell completely head over heels for this sweet fam and their precious girls. The little giggles in their twirly dresses, the bouncy curls, even the occasional eye-roll. All of it.

Complete and total magic.

& watching the way they love their momma just melted me. 🥹

We laughed, we cried, we ran, and we captured something absolutely incredible along the way-

a piece of their life, right now.
a piece of their story forever.
the love, the joy and a season
that will surely pass, as they grow toward the next.

It really is such an honor to do what I do, even if I'm not shooting multiple times a week. Giving myself the space and allowing myself to simply slow down and be still has made me fall in love with my art all over again in a new light and a brighter perspective.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the go-go-go that we forget why we're here and where we're at.

Drink each moment in and remember each moment is a gift, my friends.❤

I just love this family and these sweet boys-

I have been blessed beyond measure lately getting to see ALL my favorites in front of my lens this spring/summer.

Farrah hired me years ago for family portraits, and then eventually became one of my photography students but if this girl lived any closer I guarantee we would be the best of friends!

All the little things that come along with being a photographer, like getting to know personalities and watching them evolve and grow and change over the years is near the top of the list for things that bring my soul absolute joy. 🥰
