Maddie + Ben’s engagement session on Film

From the second we met, it felt effortless. The kind of session where conversation flows easily, everyone ends up barefoot, and somehow an hour turns into running around the beach laughing until your stomach hurts.

Maddie + Ben made this session feel less like work and more like spending the evening with old friends, and it only made me more excited to document their wedding next year. The way they move through life together is so natural, calm, and full of joy and those are always my favorite kinds of love stories to photograph.

A reminder that it’s just as important to love your photographer as a person as it is to love their photos

E+C part 1

I first met these two when they modeled a styled shoot for me, and even then it was obvious how special their love is.

From the way Canon dotes on Emma to the way she looks at him, their connection feels completely effortless. Beyond that, they’re the kind of people who make everyone around them feel comfortable and cared for.

Not only are they stunning, they are genuinely two of the sweetest humans. Now they get to begin the next chapter as parents, and their little girl is already so loved. I already know they’re going to be incredible at this, and I feel so lucky to witness it 🤍

Can you tell which shot is film and which is digital?

Different tools, same intention: imagery that feels cohesive, elevated, and timeless.

Film shouldn’t feel random in your gallery. It should feel cohesive and like part of the story.
