5+ Years of self-portraits has taught me this.
1. My initial dislike is in direct proportion to how much I will love it later.🫶
2. That lag time shortened the more time I spent looking at my portraits.
3. It takes patience to get your brain out of protect/delete mode. So be kind to yourself.
4. Now that I am free from self-image preoccupation, I am much harder to control/derail/trigger. 😉 (Your girl got her autonomy back.)
