My WOTH family has truly been amazing to me! So thankful for everything they have done and trusted me with and I can’t wait to watch them grow!!

Congratulations to McKenzie and Jarrod on your engagement and thank you for trusting me with such a special moment for you two! 🥰🥹

At one point during this session, I told McKenzie and Jarrod to talk about what they think they would have been like in high school. This gave them both a moment to just talk, relax, and feel comfortable in front of the camera. ❤️
I couldn’t hear anything that was said between them, except for one very happy little “we did it.” 🥹
And honestly, those are the moments I live for as a photographer. Not the perfectly posed smiles, but the little in-between moments that are completely genuine and tell their story. 📸✨

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE photographing people, but there’s something about nature that will always be my calm place. 🌿📸
Taking a walk, slowing down, and just photographing the beauty that’s already around me is one of my favorite ways to reset.
