Somewhere between those first sleepy newborn days and their first birthday, SO MUCH changes. The teeth, the hair, the little rolls, the movement, the personality — suddenly, you have a completely different little person in front of you.

During milestone sessions, I love capturing all of those changes and the new skills they're figuring out, from standing and crawling to that brand-new personality shining through. As a mom I know from experience that every morning they wake up they are just a little bit different, and it's so happy and sad all at the same time.

Guess what? It's completely normal! I work with their personalities rather than expecting them to sit perfectly still so we can capture genuine interaction along the way.

I would actually rather they not be perfectly posed to show how much personality, history, and love (usually 😅) exists between them.
