I recently had the honor of photographing Cuban artist Carlos Estevez, the most recent Artist in Residence at the Grand Canyon Conservancy. His artwork is inspired by exploring questions about human spirituality.

Annually, a small handful of artists are selected to live and work on the South Rim of Grand Canyon in Arizona. Artists in Residence stay in a private apartment overlooking the Canyon for 3-10 weeks and share their art with park visitors.

This year, I will be working with the Grand Canyon Conservancy to document the artists of 2024 during their residency!
