The Bridle Trail may be a very popular hike in Casper but most don't know about this all-time speed record leaderboard👀

The 3.6 mile, 1450+ ft elevation gain loop is quite the challenge for trail runners out there but who knows maybe this summer we'll see some new names make the cut👀

That's one peaceful place to train🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

I'm a firm believer that your goals should scare you. And that exactly what this goal of an does to me. I've done plenty of hard fitness adventures in my life but I think this challenge comes with inherent uncertainty. The accumulation of something new (swimming😂) combined with the overall fatigue on race day is going to be uncharted territory for me.

But I'm so stoked to be in my hometown of Casper to stack the bricks and sharpen the axe. This place is full of beautiful trails, empty roads and plenty of hills to train on. Not to mention Casper has the best gym in the world to swim and strength train at. Forever grateful to be in a place like this.

Next month I'll also be using the as a testing ground to see how the body holds up over the course of 26.2 miles and practice some intra-nutrition. Couldn't be more stoked.

Many of these trails, roads, and businesses in Casper rely on our local tourism economy to stay maintained and stay open. Which is why I've said it before and I'll say it again:

just head to the mountains🏔🪵🔥

Without a doubt, one of the best parts about living here is having Casper Mountain just 15 minutes away. It's crazy how quickly I can find some solitude when life starts to get a bit too loud. There's something magic about crisp mountain air and sitting around a campfire.

I'm constantly reminded that having getaway places like this wouldn't be possible without the people and departments who maintain our campgrounds, meadows, parks, and trails. Largely, those efforts are funded from visitors and our local tourism economy. Which is why I can't stress enough that !!

Some scenes from a Wyoming adventure🤠📸

A couple weeks ago I had the privilege of working alongside the legend Anthony Stengel with Stengel Media on assignment for Visit Casper capturing those Western roots our town was built on. The crew over at C Bracket Horse Barn sure knew how to put on a show, resulting in some of my all-time favorite photographs.

A sunset ride with Casper Mountain in the backdrop is pretty unforgettable, and adventures like this are a big reason why people travel to Natrona County in the first place.

Last year alone, 835,000 overnight visitors spent $377.8 million here, which directly supported 2,890 local jobs and helps businesses like C Bracket Horse Barn thrive.

R2R2R - an adventure of a lifetime

it's hard to put it into words how great this trip was, so simply put.. thanks to this rad group of guys, I'm going to be holding these memories close to my chest for the rest of my life

I couldn't of asked for a better group of people to experience my first ultra trail run with, 43.5 miles of laughing and suffering, deep talks and quiet moments under the stars

from the RV, to the trail, to the back-of-the-van thigh tattoo, I sure won't be forgetting these days anytime soon
